Random Poem:

Too Hard
Kita

Scared boy of six
 1
Hand in hand with Grandma
 2
Bright eyed, innocent presence
 3
Walking tentatively
 4
One step behind.
 5

Playroom walls, full of puppets,
 6
Play Figurines, easel, markers, paints
 7
Sand tray, blocks, baby dolls
 8
A child’s enchantment.
 9

“Hey, look at the dragons! They gonna fight!”
 10
Dragons fighting dragons,
 11
tough guys, and snakes.
 12
They all gonna die.”
 13

“I seen my mom and dad fight, too
 14
Dad even took out a knife.”
 15
Looking down, sad faced six-year-old
 16
“It hurts in my heart.”
 17

"Now I live in foster care
 18
Grandma isn't really.
 19
Why did I strangle Baby?
 20
That's too hard a question."
