Daydreaming
spineless

As I sit in my classroom

And look outside,

While wiping away mist,

I peep side to side.

The playground is still there.

But up, yes up in the sky,

I see a bird go circling by.

Almost invisible against the grey;

How I wish in it's wings I could sway.

While the gentle rain comes tumbling down,

Pitter, patter, splash, splash on the ground.
