Random Poem:

Good Woman
unknown

The night still frightens you
 1
though the day knocks your head
 2
dull. You have no place
 3
in this bed, thinking these things. You have
 4
no place, your hair, rumpled and right
 5
against the wall and dead
 6
drowses your lover man, your best of half
 7
your life, your brutal bad choice
 8
man who sleeps against you
 9
at night. He snores a warning
 10
you must stay. Here
 11
though, you know you could make off
 12
into the salted dark on a quiet wager,
 13
that success will be this night.
