Random Poem:

The Burning
papermoon

You looked at me
 1
with lightning in your eyes and
 2
fire on your tongue. Enflaming
 3
my ears with the words of a star
 4
when it’s trying its best to shine
 5
in a shadow. I sat beside you
 6
taking in the heat and melting
 7
with cause and purpose, stuck
 8
to my seat, you took me over, blinded
 9
me like the sun, whose aim
 10
is to burn
 11
and to please. I taste
 12
the fire now
 13
and live in the sky.
