You don't eat	1
black coffee	2
is all you need.	3
Liking to a fast	4
dark and bitter	5
like these days	6
when hunger never lasts.	7

is always the colour of choice	9
dressed in jet	10
even shows in your voice.	11
Demeanor's hard and cold	12
while cigarette smoke	13
coils from nails	14
dangerous and bold.	15
You never sleep	16
things unknown and dark	17
about which you'd rather read or write	18
greedily gulping your ebony elixer	19
all the while by candlelight.	20
Listening to thrashing music	21
haunting melodies	22
thinking of tomorrow	23
while staring at black lillies.	24
People notice the change	25
the nouveau noir	26
but sometimes it's okay	27
to be deranged.	28
As you try to stay	29
the size of bones	30
they worry and fret	31
but it's your choice	32
